BODYSNATCH Berlin was an underground monthly club night founded in 2011 by Isabel Lewis, Justin Kennedy and Josep Maynou to deliver a dirty, sweaty, ass-shaking dance experience at Monarch, Kottbusser Tor, Berlin. The night eschewed the exclusionary and hierarchical door policies of other Berlin clubs with its open door policy and 2 euro cover fee, inviting experimental sets, spontaneous B2Bs, and new DJs to the decks, without ever fixing set times. Sets were never recorded, photo and video uncommon. The event series sunsetted in 2023 with occasional pop-ups in Berlin and worldwide.
Mars was a resident DJ and crew member of BODYSNATCH from 2016-2022 after frequently guesting from 2014-2016. During Mars' tenure, BODYSNATCH was Isabel Lewis, Marshall Vincent, Justin Kennedy a.k.a. JFK a.k.a. Just In Time, Camille Darroux a.k.a. BERLIN DISASTER, Zen Jefferson a.k.a. Dove Cake, and Mars Dietz a.k.a. Sapphic Faggot. Mars also designed many of the event posters for the evening.
